The Centro Ciência Viva de Bragança is a science museum, devoted to promote scientific knowledge and scientific methods, using modern interactive technologies. It is part of a vast network of portuguese Science Centres, all sharing the same main goals. The Centre opened in June 2007. It hosts permanent scientific exhibitions mainly focused on the following areas of knowledge: environment, ecology, biology, geology, energy, physics and chemistry. It offers a broad range of additional science activities, including science birthday parties, informal scientific cafés, internet access, scientific mvies sessions.
