1. Calls for applications, papers and proposals
The Public Communication of Science and Technology Network (PCST Network) in partnership with the journal Cultures of Science invites participants of the PCST Conference 2025 to submit their work relating to the theme of "tensions". Interested authors should submit a title and abstract, highlighting the link to the theme tensions by 30 June, 2025.

Online Training for Public Administrations in Europe
Registration is open for the Commission's new training on citizen engagement for public administrations. The training is free and will be hosted in the EU Academy Platform.

SciComm Society is offering a free course to help you get started with science communication; discover ways to reach an audience beyond your peers; share your research in new ways that stand out; and generate endless SciComm content ideas.
Inspiring young people in STEM, anytime, online
The National STEM Learning Centre of the UK put together a series of four courses on the platform Future Learn. This programme aims to help students develop their volunteering skills and STEM activities for young people. Courses are free and you can join at any time. Science Communications, anytime, online
It’s a comprehensive science communication MOOC on edX - online, free and open to all. The course explores research-based, practical ideas and inspiring stories from the field based on conversations with over 50 expert interviewees worldwide.

The PCST Network is delighted to announce the PCST Symposium 2025, taking place from 11–13 November in Tokyo, Japan. This exciting event is hosted by the Japan SciCom Forum (JSF) and will focus on the strategic development of science communication and public engagement across Asia.
