December 2012 - TWIST (Towards Women in Science and Technology) has developed a training course for teachers in primary education. The focus is on awareness towards own preconceptions about boys and girls, and how to deal with this in the daily teaching practice. More than thousand teachers across Europe attended the training already. In the Netherlands, the training was rated with an 8 out of 10 and in Denmark the feed-back has been overwhelmingly positive as well. The TWIST project combined their knowledge in the publication: “One size fits all?”.
