About the proposal
Ecsite is involved in a new proposal that responds to the Call CL2-2023-HERITAGE-01-08, Cultural and creative approaches for gender-responsive STEAM education.
Ecsite is looking for a designer to develop the visual identity, communication tools and website for the project STEAM Learning Ecologies.
The project will develop engaging open schooling-enabled science learning paths for all in learning continuums of formal and informal learning environments and enterprises by emphasizing inclusiveness.
Over the last two years, Ecsite and its members have been working on the WATER-MINING project to develop a programme engaging citizens with water services and the circular economy. NEMO Science Museum (Amsterdam, Netherlands) produced the WATER-MINING exhibition to engage museum visitors with this topic through an insightful audio tour. After being displayed in Amsterdam, the exhibition will visit Parque de las Ciencias (Granada, Spain).
The Business Bistro trade show is already 50% booked at this early stage.
Pre-Conference workshops are a full-day deep dive into a particular topic led by experts. The full day programmes ensure in depth knowledge sharing and learning. In 2023 there are 6 workshops taking place throughout Esplora Interactive science centre, which will be closed to the public.
It’s with great pleasure that we announce our keynote speakers for the Ecsite Conference 2023 in Malta: Dr Lauren Vargas and Rob Hopkins.
Find out what’s been keeping Andrea Bandelli, a member of the jury that will decide the winners of this year's Mariano Gago Ecsite Awards, entertained.
A great opportunity has arisen for a paid administration and events intern starting March 2023 based in our Brussels office. Read on to find out more...
The workshop is designed for stakeholders interested in business models and policy measures supporting innovative circular water technologies. In terms of technology, the focus is on the recovery of critical resources, including freshwater, nutrient minerals, biopolymers, and energy, from urban and industrial wastewater, as well as seawater. Subjects to be discussed: circular business models, effective green funding and policy packages for the widespread dissemination of circular water technologies in Europe.
The WATER-MINING project works with pilot sites in Cyprus, Spain, Portugal, Italy and the Netherlands to demonstrate new and efficient ways to reuse water and reclaim nutrients, minerals, biopolymers and energy from desalination, and industrial and urban wastewater. This second video of the project focuses on the water situation in the most water-stressed country of the EU, Cyprus and how the WATER-MINING project is working together with local partners on solutions to increase water security for present and future generations.
