The internet and social media have challenged Science Communication while creating opportunities to develop new practices. Digital media have blurred the distinction between consumers and producers of science content and have bypassed the traditonal gatekeepers of information and given access to a range of sources that were not directly available before. The research that we present here explore the diversity of actors and contents in seven European countries by analysing three case studies: artificial intelligence, climate change and healthy diets.
