The prize will reward three women who have achieved outstanding innovations and brought them to market. Apply by 20 October
The Professor Mário Ruivo Prize will be awarded to a team of young people, aged 11-16 years old, for an original project on the theme: “Your Ocean, Your Future”.
The award will be celebrating excellent research practices by actively exploring, articulating and sharing promising innovative responsible research practices across Europe. Apply by 7 December
10-18 October. Europe Code Week is a grassroots initiative which aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everybody in a fun and engaging way.
The EU-supported project Sparks has officially started today in Amsterdam. Gathering 33 organisations from 29 European countries, and led by Ecsite, Sparks is aimed at bridging the gap between the super-fast pace of scientific innovation and society through an interactive exhibition and over 230 engaging activitiestaking place across the whole of the European Union.
The next Space Group Annual Meeting will take place at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in Milan, Italy on 3-4 November. One of the goals of the space group, that includes today more than 150 members, is to exchange and design collaborative projects to better share European space activities with the general public.
The Shanghai Association of Science and Technology is offering European museums and science centres members a chance to promote their organisation. Deadline extended: send videos and pictures by 20 October
