The project management team are delighted to confirm that we have won six new projects in the most recent Horizon 2020 calls including 4 from the Science with and for Society (SwafS) strand.
They range across a broad range of topics from water circularity (an issue we are working on together with NEMO, Parque de las Ciencias and SciCo), which concerns innovative water technology solutions (this forms part of the Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials work programme), to projects like Make it Open, led by Bloomfield Science Museum in Jerusalem, which is to do with how the maker education philosophy can help open-up schools to their community and become more inclusive amongst young people.
SocKETs hopes to enable industry develop Key Enabling Technologies that reflect societal needs and values and is part of the Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology and Advanced Manufacturing and Processing programme.
Similarly, the Schools as Living Labs project, coordinated by Ellinogerminiki Agogi, will transform schools into Living Labs.
We are pleased to confirm that over 20 of Ecsite’s members from across the network will be involved with these projects.
