Save the date: FIT4FOOD2030's Final Conference

Invitation to the online FIT4FOOD2030 Conference

Save the date: on 24 and 25 of November, the FIT4FOOD2030 project invites you to its Final Conference!

This two-day virtual event offers the chance to learn more about the systems approach to food system transformation and gain practical tools and solutions developed by FIT4FOOD2030 throughout its three years of activity.

Two thematic streams bring provide a path through all of our activities:

  • Stream 1: “Understanding food system transformation” including a variety of trends, showcases, and breakthroughs that are affecting the food system and its transformation
  • Stream 2: “Engaging stakeholders for food system transformation” emphasizes hands-on information, learnings, and tools on how to best engage with stakeholders, including at the city level.

14 City and Food Labs hosted by science centres and museums, Science Shops and research centres across Europe will also be bringing their insights to the table in Stream 2.

Project

FIT4FOOD2030

FIT4FOOD2030 supported the development and implementation of the European Commission’s FOOD 2030 policy framework to transform European food systems towards greater sustainability, resilience, competitiveness and inclusion. The project integrated existing and emerging networks and infrastructures, creating Communities of Practice that foster RRI and use transformative learning processes to build competences among citizens and stakeholders who are not currently actively integrated in decision-making.
