For more than 10 years, the Research and Evaluation working group (REV group) at Ecsite has held a pre-conference workshop at the Ecsite Conference to discuss new approaches to research and evaluation in museums and science centres and to learn about new theories and methods, and discuss which ones to use when researching learning in exhibitions.
We thought it would be great to meet and exchange thoughts more often so we're going to hold a virtual meeting, on November 8, from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. (CET)
Íf your daily work involves researching the value of visits to exhibitions, monitoring the quality and impact of the visitor experience, and examining visitors’ motivations - please join us at the ‘REV revival’ meeting.
Our aims for the meeting:
- Get to know each other
- Find out where, in which museums and at which universities researchers and evaluators work.
- Consider together for what purpose and how often we could meet.
- And finally, elect the REV Group Chair and steering committee members.
Prepare some coffee and join the meeting!
