For its January issue, the Spokes magazine is looking for people working in science museums or science centres to share the story of their relationship with an object, collection piece or exhibit that has taken a specific place in their heart and mind - and why.

Who can contribute?

Whether you're an explainer, curator, administrative staff or watchman, all your stories are welcome.

Send to events@ecsite.eu by 8 January 2018:

• 200-400 words describing the story of an object or an exhibit you have a specific relationship with and why,
• A picture of the object and a short description (imagine you're writing a short gallery label),
• A picture of you (head shot) as well as your name, your job title and the name of your institution.

How will contributions be selected?

The Spokes editorial Committee will be selecting the received contribution on the following criteria:

• Quality of the story
• Overall balance of genders, professional horizons, geographic origins and stories
