Ecsite is partnering on a proposal for the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 call for promoting Gender Equality in Research and Innovation, under the topic Innovative approach to communication encouraging girls to study science. Ecsite’s role in the project will in part be to coordinate a number of Ecsite members to develop, adapt and implement activities and tools which raise awareness of gender aspects of science. A budget of approximately €40,000 is foreseen per participating organization.

Please note that this specific proposal is only looking for institutions with a physical venue, that have links with secondary schools, and are based in either Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faroe Islands, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland or Turkey.
