The European-funded project Schools As Living Labs has launched a public consultation to develop a set of policy recommendations to accelerate the take-up and to mainstream the implementation of open-schooling in education, with a specific focus on the use of the living-lab methodology.

Education practitioners, teachers, science centres, museums and education policymakers are invited to join the policy roadmap’s co-creation process by:

• identifying the policy gaps that hinder the uptake and implementation of living-lab-based open schooling;
• elaborating a set of policy challenges and implementation scenarios related to living-lab based open schooling;
• defining practical policy directions and recommendations for all stakeholders involved.

If you want to shape the school of tomorrow, contribute to SALL’s policy roadmap: after a user-friendly log-in, you can comment on the methodology and the structure of the roadmap. Every contribution will feed directly the development of the roadmap, which will be published at the end of the project.

The consultation is led by the Lisbon Council, a Brussels-based think tank and policy network. Since 2003, the group is dedicated to making a positive contribution through cutting-edge research and by engaging political leaders and the public at large in a constructive exchange about the economic and social challenges of the 21st century.
