The recent release of SySTEM 2020's newsletter covers the latest updates and tools from the informal and non-formal learning world. This new SySTEM 2020 instalment showcases:

• the co-design workshop that took place in Helsinki, Finland, where learners and educators teamed up to solve some of the challenges facing science learning outside the classroom. Challenges from inclusion to assessment and recognition in science learning outside the classroom were addressed. Participants created 12 different design solutions during this co-design workshop. These 12 design solutions and the main factors that came out of this workshop are covered and shared;
• the milestone of hitting over 2200 entries on our Europe wide map - which covers all initiatives providing science learning outside the classroom - is celebrated;
• we introduce you to Danilo, the winner of the SySTEM 2020 STEAM award, who talks about the main challenges affecting a small rural science centre like the one he runs in Slovenia and how he has found ways to overcome them;
• and there is even a short film production, filmed and narrated by learners in Greece sharing their view and experience with science learning outside the classroom

A smart future is one with options.
