Transformation towards food systems better prepared for the future is taking place all around Europe in City Labs hosted by science centres and museums and science shops. A new and quirky hand-drawn video shares a glimpse of plans afoot in the 14 cities involved in the FIT4FOOD2030 project.
The video was FIT4FOOD2030's submission to the 2nd Citizen Engagement Festival organised by the Joint Research Centre (JRC), the European Commission’s science and knowledge service, in Brussels on 9-10 December 2019. In the framework of the European Union (EU) Community of Practice on Citizen Engagement, the event was aimed at policy makers from EU institutions, practitioners from different Member States and civil society organisations with a desire to better understand the role of citizen engagement across the policy cycle. The FIT4FOOD2030 project was challenged to make a fun and informal video that tells the story of the project in an unusual way, and here is the result – happy watching!
