This meeting starts with a presentation from Naomi Glover (applied neuroscientist). She will show how applied neuroscience provides valuable, objective data to enhance your research and evaluation practices. This helps us to understand how visitors enage with our content. In particular, you will learn how applied neuroscience can unlock new possibilities for understanding and supporting the needs of your diverse audiences.
Naomi will introduce key principles around attention, cognitive load and psychological safetey. Moreover, she touches upon how these principles affect learning and engagement in museum environments. Additionally, you will explore neuroscience-informed evaluation methods, such as wearable technologies, that are can be used to mesaure and contribute to visitor experience. The presentation also addresses the practical and ethical consideration of using these tools.
