Are you passionate about science with a flair for being able to explain complex research to a wide range of audiences? We’re looking for someone to join the Science Communications team at Worldwide Cancer Research to help the charity inspire supporters with engaging and exciting stories about cancer research.
This is a great opportunity to get hands on with a variety of work including writing press releases and news stories that showcase the impact of our research, researching and writing educational content for our website, and inspiring our staff through our regular programme of internal communications. You’ll also be developing and nurturing relationships with researchers from all over the world to help tell their story.
The Worldwide Cancer Reserach team are looking for someone with a natural flair for writing about research and solid presentation skills. Research is at the heart of the charity and you will be working with people from all areas of the organisation – teamwork and cross-team communication are vital. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to get a start in science communication or to further develop their skill set.
