The Otago Museum (Dunedin, New Zealand) is looking for a Science Centre Manager to manage their Tūhura Science Centre including the Tropical Forest butterfly enclosure, management of the Perpetual Guardian Planetarium and Beautiful Science Gallery.

This position is a permanent, full-time role of 40 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday with the availability to work weekends and after hours when required, including assisting with operational delivery from time-to-time. The salary range for this position is between $60,000 to $80,000 per annum based on a 40 hour week.

• The ability and desire to deliver our visitors and community with exceptional customer service and positive memories.
• The ability to engage and communicate at a high level
• Demonstrable experience as a people leader that will muck in when needed while creating a positive and respectful working environment
• Experience driving tourism products and sales to a diverse range of markets.
• Ability to effectively manage and set budgets
