The British Science Association is recruiting for a Community Engagement with Research Manager to join their team!
They are looking for someone to join their team to deliver a brand-new pilot project – the Community Led Research Pilot. This project will trial a new approach to developing and delivering research which puts communities in the driving seat. Working in partnership with a university, lead community partner and training partner, you will project manage the programme through the phases of identifying a research theme, creating research questions and designing research proposals.
About the role
They are looking for an innovative and experienced project manager to lead the first year of the Community Led Research Pilot (CLRP).
With support from the Head of Community Engagement, you will have lead responsibility for building strong relationships with our community researchers, Early Career Researchers and lead partner community organisation and university.
Through working with a learning partner, you will evaluate what is working and feed this learning into improving the programme, as well as sharing insights externally.
Based: Remote working or office based. Our Head Office is based in the Science Museum, London. Regular travel to the CLRP location in the UK will be required. Applications from people based in other parts of the UK are welcome.
Terms: Part time (28 hours/week). Fixed term contract until the end of March 2023 with the possibility for extension. Requests for flexible working will be considered.
Salary: £29,583 - £37,906 FTE (£23,666 - £30,324 pro rata)
