Science centre networks worldwide are working together with UNESCO and ICOM to organize the first International Science Center and Science Museum Day (ISCSMD), which will take place on 10 November 2016. ISCSMD addresses the way science centres and museums educate their diverse audiences about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Whether you create something big and new or choose to label a pre-existing activity, join the movement and put your venue on the map! 

Once you have identified which of your activities relate to one or more of the SDGs, pick one or more and label them as ISCSMD activities. The website’s toolkit  includes logo files and communication suggestions to help you promote your ISCSMD activities.

Steps:

• Go to the website and complete the form so your participation to appear on the interactive map.
• Use communications materials available on the "Toolkit" section of the website to promote your event. You'll find poster template, media advisories and key messages there, as well as logos. 
• You can also choose to participate in the GLOBE Observer Program, a worldwide citizen science experiment. All you need to know about it is here.
