Sparks project has been moving on various fronts in the last month. For example, Copernicus Science Centre hosted a hackathon that brought together doctors, designers, engineers, artists and scientists in order to find ways of improving a medical procedure implemented by surgeons to save the lives of babies with diaphragmatic hernia. As a result 2 best problem solutions have been selected by the jury and stand a chance of getting implemented in real life.

On the other hand, the 3 artworks that are part of Beyond the Lab exhibition have been creating a great deal of interest and debate all over Europe. Who said that unicorns didn't exist?
