Ecsite is happy to announce our new partnership with the Simons Foundation which will build on the efforts already made by the Ecsite community to support science engagement in Ukraine. This collaboration will span the year of 2024 and will include the donation of 5 exhibitions (or exhibits) to Ukrainian science centres, the training of 15 science engagement professionals from Ukraine at the 2024 Ecsite Conference and a one-week training for 5 science engagement professionals from Ukraine at Copernicus Science Centre.
Therefore, Ecsite invites its members to donate a maximum of 5 exhibitions (or exhibits) to Ukrainian science centres and museums in support of science engagement during the war. This project will be conducted in collaboration with Ecsite member, Junior Academy of Sciences Ukraine (JASU), who will be selecting the exhibitions.
