As part of the Sparks touring exhibition, which is travelling all over Europe, each venue hosting the exhibition, is collecting examples of research practices done in the RRI approach. To complement the stories of citizen engaged in science, a local example of how RRI is or can be applied in research in the field of medicine and healthcare is presented. Sparks partners have been forming local partnerships with researchers, universities, NGOs and citizens to identify the object or the research that would be featured in the exhibition.

We have been collecting these examples on the Sparks website to capture the local differences. No two 'Beyond the lab' exhibitions are the same, so if you are curious, keep checking this page to see the local exhibits.
