Science centres and museums are promoting themselves as platforms for governance, citizen participation and dialogue on the relationship between nature, science and society. What are examples of success, in which museums and science centres have made a concrete impact on science and technology governance? On the other hand, this session will also look at examples of science centres that have experiences failures, problems, obstacles in their science in society work. This reverse session aims to collect opinions and experiences for the development of an “instant” state-of-the-art overview of the field.
