This workshop follows up on, and offers an opportunity to put into practice the themes of the preceding panel session. Participants will be invited to take on one of a series of group projects wherein they are provided with a topic, asked to create a corresponding narrative that grows out of that content, and then challenged to imagine design strategies to embody and communicate that narrative in any combination of architecture, exhibition, graphic and interactive design that could form a visitor experience. After conceptualizing and representing their creative responses, each team will share their ideas with the larger group of participants in order to demonstrate the interpretive power of narrative as a design tool.
