The "Sud de Sciences" festival reflects the six thousand researchers in the Montpellier scientific community, with an important concentration in the fields of agriculture, environment and health.
The Sud de Sciences Festival showcases exceptional films on current scientific issues, in the presence of scientists from research organisations and committed directors. The 2021 edition of the festival will take place from 22 - 27 November 2021 in the city and metropolis of Montpellier. The theme of this 4th edition will be "Food(s) & Subsistence".
For the first time since its creation, the Festival Sud de Sciences is calling for films for its programming. The selection criteria are as follows:
- Year of production: 2019 / 2020 / 2021
- Duration: 45 - 70 min
- Theme: Food(s) & Subsistence
- Type: scientific documentary (with scientific validation)
- Presence of a subtitled FR version even when audio is French (for hearing impaired)
