It is time to explore the 2nd HEIRRI Conference "Education towards a responsible society, transforming universities through RRI" programme and to make sure not to miss this enriching event!
This 2nd HEIRRI Conference will present the materials created throughout the three years of the project's activities and their results. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the HEIRRI training programmes and their piloting, to join debates on the future of RRI in Europe and beyond, to discover other initiatives on RRI training, and to engage in multidisciplinary sessions.
Three exciting keynote speeches will be given by:
- Vincent Blok, Assistant Professor in sustainable entrepreneurship, business ethics and responsible innovation at the Management Studies Chair Group, Wageningen University
- Philippe Galiay, Head of Sector ‘Mainstreaming Responsible Research and Innovation in Horizon 2020 and the European Research Area’, European Commission Research and Innovation Directorate-General
- Rolf Tarrach, President of the European University Association (EUA)
They will address HEIRRI in relation to RRI and citizen science and will put the focus on individuals' participation in the integration of RRI in the higher education institutions context.
The two parallel sessions will present the adventure of teaching and learning RRI and the next steps of teaching RRI in HEI, while the speed dating session and the poster walks will give an insight into current European and worldwide projects connecting RRI and education.
